The mass takes place on Avenida Central’s boulevard, next to the Mercado Central. This year, it was officiated by Father José Rafael Quirós, archbishop of San José.Hundreds participated in the activity, which included a free coffee and tamal or arroz con pollo at all of the restaurants inside the market, for those who attended the mass.The event was organized by the Union de Comerciantes del Mercado Central, the Municipality of San José and the Catholic Church.
